It was a very interesting week thanks in large part of the stunning acquisition of TechCrunch by Paypal, as AOL continues to look for growth through acquisitions. AOL is certainly looking stronger than Yahoo (YHOO) right now, which seems about ready to blow up.

Here are the top readings of the past week!

The first time is always the worst @ TheFinancialBlogger
The importance of asset allocation @ TheDividendGuyBlog
Pimco’s Bill Gross: Day’s of 10% returns are gone @ DailyFinance
9 high yield managed distribution funds @ DividendValue
Is Gold a dollar phenomenon? @ The Big Picture
The Power of greed @ GreenPandaTreeHouse
Investors getting out of the stock market @ ZeroHedge
What is portfolio diversification @ FreeFromBroke
Orbitz at the Friday night dump @ Footnoted
America’s highest property taxes @ CNN
I should have bought an index fund @ CanadianFinanceBlog

Best of luck to MoneyIndex, which just launched, looks promising!
