@Stephen – I guess it would be less if I lived in a small city and did not enjoy travelling so much. But obviously I could live with less:) Would not consider it “rich” though but that’s just me!

I can’t say right now what I would need per month, but I do know that I would want to be debt free. So how will I become rich? I am saving money in retirement accounts which amount to a little more than 10% of my income. I will have a little bit of an inheritance which will be used to purchase a cash producing asset to add to my income but that may not happen for the next 20 years or so. That is the plan so far.

There is no chance in hell I’ll ever get rich unless I win the lotto. Wow,you need $7000-$8000 a month? You must have a posh lifestyle. I only need about $2,500 a month and that includes housing. I dream of a day I’m mortgage free.
