Not really in fact. It mostly depends on how much commission you are paying. If you have a good rate (maybe uner 5$ per trade), then it's no issue really. But if you are paying 30$, then a long short trade will cost you 120$ to do (2 stocks to enter and 2 to exit)... so a trade with 6K would already be down 5%... @TFB Shanda is an entertainment website in China so involved in games & entertainment:) @Matthew – Good question.
