DTLK – Datalink (Nasdaq) (Closing Price on Friday, 7/6/07 – $5.45)

On July 2 Datalink lowered its second quarter guidance due to a “slow down in IT and storage spending” with some of its large customers.

Datalink lowered its revenue forecast to a range of 40 to 41 million from the previous range of 49 to 50 million and also lowered its earnings forecast to a loss of 3 to 5 cents a share from previous guidance of breakeven to a profit of 5 cents. (more…)

CAAS – China Automotive Systems (Nasdaq) (Closing Price – $7.39) 

China Automotive Systems (CAAS) is a company that has decent fundamentals and a potentially huge market. Its share price has also had some interesting movement the last few years.

China Automotive Systems engages in the manufacture and sale of automotive systems and components in China. Needless to say the potential of the Chinese automotive market is considerable. Furthermore, it was recently announced that one of CAAS’s customers, Chery Automobile Co, and Chrysler were moving ahead with a plan under which Chery will build cars for export under the Chrysler name. STRM – Q1 2007 Earnings

STRM – Streamline Health Solutions (Nasdaq) (Closing Price on Friday 6/29/07 – $4.19)

Streamline Health released first quarter earnings on May 21 and once again they reported disappointing results.

Streamline Health reported revenue of 3.78 million and a loss of 0.05 per diluted share. They blamed the disappointing results on “protracted negotiations on two large system sales.” However, they said they were confident the sales “will successfully conclude in our second quarter, allowing the company to meet its first half expectations.” (more…)
